Jen is an awesome teacher! She has a fun approach to difficult moves, and makes you feel safe whilst giving you the confidence to achieve new and amazing things! Whether you’re new to circus stuff or have any professional experience Jen is able to adapt and teach in a way that allows you to grow in your chosen skill. Jen has taught me invaluable new things and I look forward to be able to work with her again soon!
Jen’s aerial silks classes are a riot of fun. She’s patient, encouraging and hilarious and each session spent hanging around (and upside down) with her is an absolute joy!

My silks class is a dose of sunshine in my week. Classes are relaxed and fun, and you’re free to take everything at your own pace. In just a few weeks you’ll achieve things you never thought you’d be able to!

We came for a one-off workshop with Jenny as a team-building exercise. Jenny was a fantastic coach, showing patience as we all learnt at different paces, and had a great energy. She encouraged us all to try new tricks and took the time to put this into a short routine. Jenny is very passionate about Hula Hooping and has a personal investment in each individual’s enjoyment and development throughout the short course. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend!

As the chair of the breast cancer support group Breast Friends York I’m constantly on the lookout for new and interesting ideas on how to live well with and beyond the diagnosis. The sessions that we put on are a small taster of particular activities which may not be right for everybody in the group but if it helps one person to find a way in which to move forward with their life, find a way to manage or eradicate pain, become mentally and emotionally strong and keep physically fit and healthy in order to limit the risk of recurrence then it is totally worth it.
There has been a recent push to support cancer patients with their physical recovery and development based on evidence that healthy diet and regular exercise are the biggest factors in the prevention of recurrence. Many ladies struggle with exercise following treatment for breast cancer for many different reasons including pain, muscle weakness, weight gain, scarring and fatigue.
Not only has the hooping kept us fit, taught us new skills and given us many many giggles, but we have also discovered that the movements required have allowed us to test our bodies that we no longer fully trust and we are beginning now to gain some of that trust again.
Jen is just fabulous. Her passion for all things hooping and aerial is infectious as is her love for life. You leave her classes feeling physically and emotionally refreshed. As a teacher Jen is patient and encouraging and can adapt anything to suit the needs of the individual. We are so pleased to have met her and are proud to call her our friend as well as our Hoop teacher. Thanks Jen. You are something special to us.
